Just a quick card using an ISS digital image "Asia"...

Cardstock is PTI, SU! and Cloud 9 design. The blue flower I made using Grunge Paper by Tim Holtz. The yellow flower is prima. Ribbon is from PTI and buttons are SU!. I used copic colors E30,31 and 33 for her hair, E21 and 11 for her skin, the book is C1 the bubbles are BG000 and finally the tub is colored using YR 20, 82 and 02.

This weeks inspiration challenge is to create a gift for someone who you are thankful for but who doesn't always get the recognition they deserve. Immediately I thought of my dog groomer. She so loves my puppies and does an amazing job. She definately deserves a huge THANK YOU!!

"Puppy Love" is one of Novembers new release images for In Style Stamps.

This adorable image works perfectly as the focal point of my gift.

The little guy is colored using Copic colors E15, 17, 19 and 49. Plus E41 and 42 for his bone and YR14 and 18 for the hearts. DP is DCWV and CS is SU! Ribbon is SU! The jar came from IKEA, if you have an IKEA in your area they have great items to create gifts with.

It's that time again... Release week is always very exciting for any company and their fans. ISS has 6 new images being released this week. Mondays image is "Chucky", I adore this little guy! He could be used for Easter, Baby, Spring, really anything that pops up!

Chucky is colored using Copic Marker colors, YG01, YG21 and YG25.

Cardstock is PTI and DP is DCWV.

Christmas Pudding Anyone?

This weeks In Style Stamps color challenge uses this yummy picture of Christmas pudding.

When it comes to color challenges I love to tweek my colors just a bit while staying in the same families. For my sample I used SANDY she can be found on the In Style Stamps website.

I used PTI cardstock and ribbon. The flowers are by Prima. I colored Sandy using Copic Markers. Hair Yoo, 11 and 21, skin E00 and 01, dress YG03 and 95 and finally the trim is R46 and 59.

Next week is new release week with an inspiration challenge on Wednesday. So be sure to check out the ISS Blog starting on Monday for new release samples all week!

Well I missed all of you! I took a little break from everything but I'm back!! I love, love, love the simplicity of the November Sketch for In Style Stamps!

For my sample I used "Leang and Sei" which can be found on the In Style Stamps website.

I colored the image using Copic Markers. For the Sled I used E11,13,15 and 17. The boys skin is E00,11 and 95. His sweater is B00, 000 and 41 and his jeans are B93, 95 and 97. His hair is E30, 31 and 35. For the girls skin I used E11 and 13. Her hair is E19 and 29. The sweater is YG93 and 95 and her pants are E53 and 55. Finally her scarf uses YR68 and G95. Cardstock is PTI and designer paper is SU!. I popped up the image and added a Heidi Swapp Ghost flower with a rhinestone brad center.

I tossed around many ideas and ultimately decided my card would be inspired by the gorgeous colors in the image. I chose "Tatiana", she is currently available on the In Style Stamps website.

Tatiana is colored using Copic Markers. Hair Y00, Y11 & Y21, Skin E00 & E11, Shorts and Shirt RV02, RV04 & RV06, Sweat Bands and Socks V12 & V17, Shoes and Racket YG01 & YG25 and finally the Tennis Ball Y13 & Y19.

This months Blog Hop theme is "End of Summer". I know my card doesn't seem to be very summery, but as soon as I saw the Hop theme and this amazing paper it brought back fun childhood memories. At the end of summer vacation, just about every year we would go see the Ringling Brothers Circus!

So hopefully my project makes sense with the theme now.

For my card I colored "Jax" using Copic markers E13, E15 & E17 for his hair, E30 & E31 for his skin, BG93, BG96 & BG99 were used for his shirt, E55 & Y28 on the shorts and

his shoes are done using BG93 & BG96.

In Style Stamps New release

Todays post are samples using In Style Stamps images Hanna and Alma.

I am in love with this sample! Alma is so incredibly adorable! I colored the image using Copic colors; BeaksY13 & Y15, Flippers YR12 & YR18, Cat Tail E42, E44, G82 & G85, sand E41 & E43 and for the sky I used B41. Cardstock is Lemon Tart, Sage Shadow and DCWV. Prima Flowers and flat back pearls add a girly fnish!

For my Hanna sample I created a baby frame. Hanna is colored using Copic colors R20 and R22. Cardstock is DCWV and flowers are by Prima!

ISS August Color Challenge

Taylor picked a georgous color combo the I would have never thought of myself.

Dark green, turqouise, lime amd naturals white are the colors I took from it.

Here is the image that inspired the color challenge.

For my sample I used Sophie. She can be found on the In Style Stamps website. I made a Post It note mini motebook using my bind it all and a couple of chipboard coasters.

Sophie was colored using Copic Marker color. Her swim suit is B01, B04 & B06, Skin E50 & E11, Snorkel and Flippers RV13 & RV19 and finally her Hair E30, E31 & E33. I tied some dark green, white and navy blue ribbon on the coil binding and popped up Sophie for a bit of dimension. Inspiration In Style

This weeks In Style Stamps inspiration challenge picture gives you a huge amount of options! As you can see from the image there are so many sketches that you could be inspired to use on your project. As soon as I saw the image the trim work stood out to me immediately!

I used In Style Stamps image Kristina. She is just so adorable riding her bike. Kristina was colored using Copic markers and layered using Nestibilities. I added some buttons for a bit of embelishment.

In Style Stamps August Sketch Challenge

What a great sketch, wait, there's a catch...It must also be an easel card! I chose ISS image Hanna, when I first saw how adorable she was I knew she would be the perfect baby card! Hanna was colored using Copic markers, layered using Nestibilities. Cardstock is DCWV, PTI and SU!. A few brads and Primas and all finished. I must admit this was my first try at an easel card, tell me what you think. Hanna will be available after the August release around the 20th.

The detail is amazing! I used copic markers to color my image, added some fun Halloweeney paper and some rhinestones to finish it off.

Cut it out and Pop it !!!

This weeks Riley and Company Tuesday challenge is the brain child of the amazing Cindy Haffner .

So get out those scissors, pop dots and or foam tape and "Cut It Out & Pop It Up"!

For my card I used Swimmer Riley. he is colored using Copic marker color V12 & V17 for the Inner Tube and E11, E13, E15 & E17 for Riley himself. The background is airbrushed using BG000, BG00 and BG01. I layered several squares and used my Nestibilities to cut and layer the swimmer himself. Finished off with a few rhinestone brads and did you notice the flip flops in the corner?

In the second picture you can see much better how he is popped up...

Happy Saturday everyone! Today is Color Challenge day over at the In Style Stamps blog. The color inspiration is this amazing winter wrapping paper with gold, olive and pink. It can be found at

Olive Paper . Since I am a very literal person I did a Christmas card using the mentioned colors.

For my sample I used Christmas Tree Chole, she will be realeased on July 16th . She was colored using Copic Markers. For her adorable outfit I used Roo, Rooo, Roooo, R20, R22 and R30. The tree is G21, G40, G94 and G99, the trunk is E17 and E18 and ffor the pot I used E70, E74 and E77. Her skin and hair are Eoo & E11 and E11 & E15. Cardstock is Bazzil, SU! and MS, ribbon is PTI. Sentiment is CCS.

I finished it off using my Wizard with Nestibilities and a Cuttlebug folder.

Family plays such a huge part in my life so when I saw this sentiment I wanted to create a cad simple enough to showcase this beautiful sentiment. The stamp is a Creative Clear Stamps Sentiment Single "Family of Strength". Check out all the amazing and thoughtful Sentiment Singles on the Creative Clear Stamps website. Cardstock is SU! and DCWV. Riley Challenge time...

It's Riley and Company challenge time again and it is my turn to issue the challenge! The challenge is to use Riley and Company stamps to create some type of packaging. You could decorate a bag, make a bag topper, create a gift set or what I did was decorate a DVD tin to be used as a gift card holder. I used Tent Riley. I paper pieced the tent and colored Riley using Copic colors E30, E31, E33 and E35. I air brushed the grass with YG63 and the sky with B41. Cardstock is DCWV and PTI. I used my Oval Nestibilities to cut and layer Riley. Finally I added some jumbo brads for the last touch. We want you all to play along so be sure to post your packaging in the SCS gallery using the keyword Riley1110. You don't want to miss any of the inspiration, so be sure to check out the rest of the Design Teams samples. Leave them some love!!

Creative Clear Stamps Thursdays

Thursday sure did come around quick this week! For today I used the main image from the Creative Clear Stamps set "Hip Hip Hooray". This set has the best sentiments plus who could resist that chubby little bear!

I colored my image with Copics and layered him using my Nestibilities. Cardstock is SU! with some DP from a Creating Keepsakes pack. Ribbon is SU! and the border is punched using a Martha Stewart punch. Let me know what you think and Thanks so much for stopping by!!

A Little Fishy...

Good morning! I will be your Thursday girl for Creative Clear Stamps. I decided a Fathers Day card would be appropriate this week. One thing you will probably notice is that a pretty large percentage of my cards can be used for multiple occasions. Like today's card could be a Fathers Day card or a masculine Birthday card for the man or boy in your life.

For today's card I used "Hooked On Fishing". Cardstock is by SU!, PTI and Bazzil. Patterned paper is DCWV. I used a felt saddle stitch ribbon and a buckle for a masculine touch. I stamped the images on Kraft CS to create a background paper. Then I stamped a few more images in coordinating colors, cut using various Nestibilities and popped them up on foam tape for dimension. Riley and Co. Tuesday Challenge 1 2 3...

For todays Tuesday challenge was created by Cathy Edgar. The challenge is a 1 2 3 challenge so for my card I used Bikini Sophie with 1 patterned paper, 2 cardstock colors(Tempting Turquoise & Garden Green) and 3 embelishments (Primas, brads & ribbon). I colored Ms. Sophie with Copics and layered her with my Nestibilities. NOW on to the important stuff. I used the CCS set "Arms of Jesus". I so loved coloring this sweet image. I used the following Copic colors... Cross Y13, Y17 & Y19, Bears Fur E42, E43, E44 & E47, Bonnet G24 & G29. The Grass was airbrushed using G82 along with the Sky using B32. I punched a circle then used it as a mask to create a sun/moon image. I used my Wizard and Nestibilitieses to cut and layer my image along with the flourish. I added some brads and Prima Flowers and there you have it!

Well as you can see my samples for today are of a wicked nature! You are probably noticing a pattern with my patterned paper, "Lime Rickey" by Basic Grey was again my choice for both cards. Last night was my son Jesse's High School graduation from Agua Fria HS. I am so so proud of him! He has succeeded in his HS carrier in so many ways. He did great academically, he is a 4 year Varsity Athlete, he has made wonderful lifetime friends, he has great goals but most of all he is an AMAZING Son! We Love you Jesse an CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Jesse is a great friend here are just a few of his friends, some go to different schools some are under classmen and some are kids he has met overtime and stayed friends with.
He had quite the group cheering him on!

And last but not least Jesse and his brothers, Colbey, Cooper, Jager, Cameron and Ares.
If Ares doesn't look familiar he is the son of our dear friends David and Julie. He fits right in with the boys so of course he needed to be in the brothers pic.

Day 2 of Sneak Peaks and a Tuesday Challenge...

For today not only do I have a sneak peak of the Tin Man image but I have a challenge. This Tuesdays challenge is to create a Birthday card. Laurie is our host this week for the challenge so be sure to check out her Blog "On the Bright Side" What I love most about this image is the detail that can be achieved by layering colors in the same category to acheive depth. In this case I used Copic colors C1, C3, C5 and C7. For my sneak peak card I once again used patterened paper from the Basic Grey pack "Lime Rickey".

This month Riley and Company are off to see the wizard! As you may have guessed the May Release will be centered around "The Wizard of Oz" characters. There will be 8 new stamps, Dorothy, Tin Man, Scarecrow, Lion, Good Witch, Wicked Witch, Flying Monkeys and the Yellow Brick Road. They will all be available UM, cling mounted and wood mounted. They will also be offered as a set with a 10% discount plus you will receive a FREE stamp! There will also be 3 new word sets, OZ Words 1, OZ Words 2 and Moose Sayings. Be sure to check back daily for sneak peaks of all the new images.

Wednesday night will be a blog hop and each of you will have a chance at winning two new limited edition phrase stamps. They can not be purchased only won during this months Hop!

As you can see for today's sneak peak I chose Dorothy to kick things off. I colored her using the following Copic colors, her hair E42, E43 & E44, Fur and Hooves E11, E13 &E17, Slippers R29, Basket E70 &E74, Dress B21 &B24, Toto W1, W3 & W5. Then she was cut and layered using my Nesties. Paper is Basic Grey "Lime Rickey", SU! Real Red and Bashful Blue. I added some half pearls by Kaiser Crafts, Prima flowers and a couple SU! rhinestone brads to finish her off. Ring Around the Moosey....

Okay that was silly but I couldn't think of anything more cleaver. Today's Riley and Company Tuesday challenge is hosted by the amazingly talented Silke. The challenge is to create a circle card. For my card I used Farmer Couple Riley and Sophie, which can be found on the Riley and Company site. The patterned paper is by Basic Grey. I colored the adorable couple with Copics and added some primas. Copic colors used were, Body E33 & E35, Hooves E 35 & E37, Antlers E53 & E33, Hat Y23 & Y26, Pants E42 & E44, Rileys Shirt B93 & B97, Sophies Dress YR00, YR02, YR04 & YR07. The mats were cut using my Nesties and my new Wizard by Spellbinders. Did you notice the fun green and tan ribbon in middle with the little green duck? This was an awesome find at a craft fair. It is actually vintage paper ribbon, almost like raffia. It is probably just brittle from age, anyway. It looks like it would have been used to tie on brown packaging. As soon as I saw it I had to have it, then when I saw the price $3 for a huge spool, probably hundreds of yards! So back to the challenge info. ...Hoppin' Down the Bunny Trail! Yep you read it right, Riley has visited the Easter Bunny. Isn't he the cutest Bunny you have ever seen?!?! Riley and Company will release at least 9 stamps this Wednesday night the 17th following the Blog Hop. Riley and friend were colored with copics, I airbrushed the sky and blended the grass. Cardstock and ribbon is PTI. I then used my cuttlebug using Oval Nestibilities to cut Riley. Then with just a couple half back pearls I finished it off. Thanks for stopping by!

I am so excited, it is time for another Riley and Company release. Can I get a WOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOO!! This week the entire Riley and Company Design Team will be posting sneak peaks of all the adorable Riley and Sophies that will be released on the 17th. So if my calculations are correct, that is 4 days of sneak peaks, the 15th through the 18th and 1 outrageous Blog Hop! The Hop will begin at 10:00pm EST on Wednesday the 17th. I will have more info on the Hop later in the week. Oh My! I almost forgot, during the Hop be sure to stop by each Designers blog and leave a comment for a chance to win some yummy blog candy! Ok on to my card...I used the soon to be to be released Umbrella Riley. He is colored with Copic Markers, cut with my Cuttlebug and Nestibilities and layered on Basic Grey cardstock. Did you notice the sweet Moose sentiment? Well you just might see the entire set re-released on the 17th. There will be a couple other re-releases also this month so be sure to keep an eye out and let me know if you see one! I finished Riley off with some Prima flowers and a bit of embroidered fiber. This weeks challenge is to use chipboard. I covered the chipboard with some stripes trying for the tent look. Have you ever seen the Big Bad Wolfe look so HOT?!?! He is from the Bombshell stamp set "Sugar Daddy". I have been trying new Copic shading techniques and I just love how Mr. Wolfe turned out! I added some rhinestones from Kaiser crafts to his buttons for dimension also used them around the sentiment. cardstock is basic black, garden green and elegant eggplant from SU! Patterned paper is Basic Grey. I sponged with some distress ink and finished it off with SU! eggplant grosgrain ribbon. The card fits into a regular legal size envie, if you were curious about the size.

This weeks Riley & Company challenge is brought to you by the ever so talented Cindy Haffner. The challenge is to create using the colors... red, brown and caramel. Riley and Sock Monkey was so much fun to color. I gave him some denim shorts and a red t-shirt with my Copic markers. Card stock is Chocolate Chip and Creamy Caramel. Designer Series Paper in Real Red and Chocolate Chip. I Framed Riley and his friend with nestebilities, added some 5/8" red grosgrain ribbon from PTI, added a bit of hardware and a sentiment, simply but I love it! Make sure you check out the rest of the Design Team and what they have come up with this week.

Thanks to SASSY CHERYL I have jumped heart first into the land of the Digital Stamp!

For card one I turned the Funky Bunny into a baby card. I just couldn't resist, the image was just perfect for a boy or girl. I colored with Copic markers of course, used Nestibilities to layer with SU! nad DCWV cardstock. Added a few buttons and there you have it, Super Simple!!
Card two uses Double Kissed. I just could not resist, doesn't every girl hit the boys she loves!
Again another super simple card. Colored with Copics and added a squiggle around the edge. I layered with Basic Grey & SU! CS, finished it off with Prima Flowers and some buttons. Be sure to check out sasy Cheryl's you will love them for sure!

Day three is all about Pure Innocence! "Better Get Better" is so loveable! The bandaged teddy is just the sweetest. I remember playing hospital with my stuffed animals when I was a little girl. This time it I used Cosmo Criket CS along with some PTI and SU! Layered some Nesties for a great background efffect, then finished up with a couple Prima flowers and the punched sentiment.

"Pure Innocence, Blooming Good Day". Isn't she just so sweet!! This Cosmo Criket CS goes perfectly with the springy image. I sponged some CS I cut using my Oval and Labels Nesties. Colored with Copics popped her up with foam tape and added some ribbon, primas with brad centers. Oh yeah, did I mention there will be 3 new Pure Innocence sets and 13 new sets in all this month!!! Isn't she georgous! Todays sneak peak is of "Dancin' the Night Away". I colored the image with Copics and paper pieced her skirt adding a bit of a bling belt. Used my new Nestibilities labels set to cut the image. cardstock is Anna Griffin and SU!. I Added some primas, brads, ribbon and a bit more bling and here you have it! My Favorite Things February Release Sneak Peaks Day 1

Day 1 sneak peak of "Basket Full O' Flopsey" . I used the heart basket insert but there are also eggs, and flowers plus several sentiments, which makes this a very versatile set. I colored with Copics, used my square classic and scalloped Nesties. CS is basic Grey and SU! I chose a wonky(yes that is my word for different) fold for this card. Pure Innocence

There was never a truer name for a product line than My Favorite Things, Pure Innocence. These little guys and girls are just the sweetest images. For the card above I used Snow Adorable, colored them with Copics and paper pieced using SU! DSP. Also used Basic Grey CS. Nestibilities where used to cut out the sentiment and to layer the image. My favorite part of this card is the little flower I made. I used Nestibilities Peony in the three smallest sizes to cut out flowers, two of each size, I just used an old book with newsprint type pages, crumpled them up, then swept them across a Distress Ink pad, color is old paper. Crumpled again then simply organized them how I liked, punched a whole and placed a brad. That's all!
This cutie is My Umbrella. Her little rain coat is perfect for paper piecing, I used PTI DP. Also used PTI Kraft and blue CS. The gingam ribbon is SU!. I used Glossy Accents to give the umbrella top a slick look. Of course my go to Nestibilities, this time I used ovals to cut the image and layer it. I also used Labels 3 and double cut it to create a frame for my ovaled images.

Yes Miss Frances did...Every other Tuesday beginning this week(see why I am late in my previous post) the Riley and Company Design Team will take turns hosting challenges. My week is February 9th but you will have to check back to find out what the challenge is. So I used Get Well Riley and let me just say that he is a blast to color with my Copics! I used my Nestibilities, Basic Grey and SU! CS, some misc. Ribbon and of course my three Brown Buttons tied with a bit of Hemp Twine.

Sorry it has been over a week since I posted! One of my lightbulbs burned out in the lamps I use for my table top light studio. So I have spent countless hours trying to find replacements! Let me just say how ridiculously stupid it has been with ZERO luck. So not only did one burn out, but I knocked the other lamp over and broke the other bulb. Well anyway I finally found the bulbs I need on Ebay at a great price and the best part they came today, only 3 days since I ordered, YAY!! I promise I will have some adorable(well I think so) cards up tomorrow! Thanks for hanging in there!!

I hadn't given Hula Sophie any love in a while so I thought she would be a great addition to this simple altered notepad. Paper is Basic Grey, Lime Rickey, SU! Night of Navy and PTI Raspberry. Raspberry PTI ribbon and SU! green ribbon. I used my Labels Large and Rectangle Nestibilities with my Cuttlebug. The image is stamped ith Momento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copics marker colors B41 & 45, E33, 35, 37, 42, 43 & 44, G07 & RV14. Hardware is retired from SU!. The notepad comes in a 12 pack at Office Max, I believe they are 4"x6".

This Yummy image is the Lil' Chef from The Greeting Farm. I colored him with Copic Sketch markers, used Basic Grey Nook & Pantry CS, SU! Garden Green and Yo Yo Yellow. The SU! Word Window punch fit the greeting perfectly, and a tiny red button with green twine is the cherry on top!

Don't you just love new to you stamps. This little guy is from THE GREETING FARM, his name is Ian. I added an image of the Copics I used in the image. The paper is Basic Grey and SU!, ribbon is PTI and a SU! Hardware buckle. I also used a Cuttlebug for some added texture.

Once again an adorable UNITY STAMP COMPANY image. The set is "Mix Up of Cuteness". The paper is DCWV, SU! and PTI. I used SPELLBINDERS Nestibilities and SU! ribbon & word window pinch. I have misplaced the paper with the Copic notes, I'll edit when and if I find it. I am so lovin' my aricompressor. By airbrushing the background it completes the image. Thanks again for checkin' me out...well you know what I mean. :)

A simple Journal...

I have a journal in my studio where I write down ideas for projects, requests for a particular project and card orders. I was looking at it today an deceided that it needed some sprucin' up. So real quick I covered it with some patterned paper, colored SCHOOL BOY RILEY with Copics (I attached a picture of the colors I used) and added him and some felt flowers to the cover. I used the Cherries in the Unity Stamp Co. set "Mix Up of Cuteness". I found the DCWV cherry paper in my stash and it just happen to match the Copic colors I used on the image. I used Copics R43 & R45 and G24 & g28. Label and circle Nestibilities, cardstock colors are SU! Cameo Coral and Certainley Celery.

This adorable whale is also from "Mix Up of Cuteness". As soon as I saw it I had to make a super simple baby card. I used Copic colors V12 & V15. Circle Nestibilities by Spellbinders, paper is by PTI and the punches are from SU!

How about one for the boys? Mr. Owl is from the Unity Stamp Co. set "Mix Up of Cuteness" with the sentiment beign from a PTI set. I had already colored him without writting down the Copic color numbers, sorry. CS is SU! & PTI and patterned paper is DCWV. The tasty twill ribbon is also PTI and the Hardware is SU! I love how the Pinking Nestabilities by Spellbinders make the image pop! I need to make more male cards, you would think with all the boys I have I would make more. Enjoy and Happy Humpday!!

I love how this simple little cupcake stands tall against the polka dots. For the top I used copic colors R11 & R14. For the bottom I used B14 & B18. The stamp is from a set by Unity Stamp Co., "Mix Up of Cuteness" The set is so versitile! Polka dot paper and ribbon is Paper Tray Inc. and the SU! Yo Yo yellow is textured CS.

My entry for the January MFT guest DT spot. I used this adorable Pure Innocence image fom MFT. Paper is SU! real red, old olive, bashful blue and DSP. I used Copics to color the image one of my reolutions is to list the copic colors I used, so here you go. The shirt R35, 37 & 39, the jeans B95, 97 & 99, skin E00 & E11, Hair E13 & E17, leaves G28, Shoes Y38, Sky (airbrushed)B32 & B34, grass(airbrushed) G07 & G12.

Hello all, I needed to take a break for a bit but I am back. I am in full swing and promise to make regular blog posts with all types of fun images form all sorts of amazing stamp companies! My goals are to apply to some of my favorite companies Design Teams, make some amazing cards and altered projects and just really get neck deep back into papercrafting. Riely LOVES to TRAVEL....

As soon as I saw these two new Riley Moose stamps they just cried Bind-it-all book. So as I always do I began coloring my image found the patterned paper I awanted and quickly relized this would be a great Travel Log. So with a bit of Chipboard, notebook paper, BIA wire and some letters cut with my cricut and george cartridge, a Travel Log was made!
This card was creadted around the ribbon. Does anyone else start with the accesories? Well AGAIN I started to color this sweet van Riley Moose and well here you have it!!

We all grew up watching "I dream of Jeanie" and some times we can catch the reruns. Hanna Stamps has created this amazing set where the possibilities are endless!
I started out to make a gift set of smaller cards, and you all know how I love to use the main image ina non traditional way. However when I got to Jeanie I just could not resist. So as you can see my gift set is a bit non traditional. I sure hope you enjoy these as much as I have!

"Failing Miserably"

It is not as bad as it sounds. My dear friend Kari has a post on her blog about this very subject. I left a huge comment on her post and after reading it I deceided to post on my own blog about this very subject. I have copy and pasted my comment from Karis in read. As a mom the preasures of life just become so much to handle. michael and I have been married for 20 years and for the first 18 I seem to have held it together ok, don't get me wrong I am not saying life was just all clouds and butterflies, but it was easy for me to handle anything thrown at me. Well the past two years have been a complete change from our norm. This is the comment I left on Karis Blog "Running in Place"

You are always asking me how I am doing well "failing Miserably. For two years it seems as though every reponsibility I have and CHERISH has been put on the back burnner! My hats read (in no particular order) Mom, wife, cook, maid, vet,friend, secretary, team mom, receptionist, office manager, banker, artist, well you get the idea. What I have learned is that we all fail miserable at some time or another some by bits and some in chuncks. What we need to look at well what I look at is. Are my kids and hubby happy and I can say without a doubt YES. We all have down times but at the end of every single day each of my 5 boys(at home) still hug an kiss their mom with an I love you before bed! At that moment in time every night I realize 'I have achieved amazingly'!

I have a challenge, I want to hear how you are "ACHIEVIEING AMAZINGLY" !
